Stephen L. Barry is Of Counsel with Stagg, Terenzi, Confusione, & Wabnik, LLP. With more than twenty five years of experience as a trial lawyer and over thirty jury verdicts in all aspects of tort litigation, including automobile accidents, construction accidents under the New York State Labor Law, premises liability, medical malpractice and intentional torts, Mr. Barry brings a breath of knowledge to the courtroom. Further, having taken verdicts in fifteen different counties from Suffolk to Otsego, and from Richmond to Albany, he is not a stranger to New York courtrooms.
Mr. Barry's experience includes that of senior trial attorney for a mid-sized Westchester County firm concentrating on insurance defense. Before that he was with staff counsel offices for a number of major insurance carriers. In addition, he has argued and briefed over a dozen appeals to various New York Appellate Divisions. He also give seminars on employment practices litigation to insurance claims departments and trade groups.
Mr. Barry is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy program. He received his undergraduate degree from St. John's University and his law degree from New York Law School, where he was a Notes and Comments Editor on the New York Law School Human Rights Annual. While in law school he authored Note: The Forgotten Hatred: Anti-Catholicism in Modern America, 4 NYLS Hum. Rts. Ann. 203 (1987) and was a member of the Moot Court Association.
In addition to his career, Steve is a published poet, active in the Knights of Columbus, and most importantly, a dad.

John C. Polera is Of Counsel with Stagg, Terenzi, Confusione & Wabnik, LLP. He represents clients in New York and Connecticut in commercial and residential real estate, finance, probate, trusts and estate planning and administration, tax planning and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and business planning. John is also admitted to practice in federal and state courts in New York and Connecticut, including the United States Tax Court. John will also continue his independent practice at the Law Office of John C. Polera, P.C. in Stamford, CT, and White Plains, NY. With a Master of Laws in Taxation in addition to his Juris Doctorate, and admitted to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut, John offers clients a unique perspective in his approach to his clients' issues and offers them a strong foundation for their financial and taxation issues.
John is a graduate of Boston University School of Law with a Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM), graduating in the top 20% of his class; received his Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of Miami School of Law; and his undergraduate degree from Tulane University where, in addition to graduating Cum Laude, he also was a Varsity Letterman in Track and Field and the winner of the John S. Oelkers Athletic Award.
John has worked on a number of large corporate transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, refinancing of corporate borrowing facilities of up to $100 million, as well as large real estate development transactions. John also represented Andrew Robustelli, who was a nationally recognized football player having played for the New York Giants and a member of the NFL Football Hall of Fame, and his companies for more than 20 years before his death in 2011.
